Cucumber season 1 This TV series will go about gays of the twenty-first century. Drama "Cucumber" will reveal all the aspects of daily routine of a few homosexuals, among them there is Henry Best. The whole plot is built in such a way that it can describe to audience in details and the best possible way what funny situations and problems occur to Henry, who comes from the previous generation, in the gay community of the twenty-first century. The main character is 46 years old and he is a completely self-made man. Henry also has a boyfriend whom he dates for nine years. Although, the relationships are long enough, you cannot consider them to be stable and strong. Lance, a partner of the main character, always pulls Henry in various adventures associated with intimacy. One of such cases happens when the couple visits a gay club. They take with them Francesco, a young guy who has just returned from Yorkshire. The partners invite Francesco to their home, where three of them make up a decision to have some privacy. But Lance decides otherwise, he locks deliberately Henry in order that the lad is only for him. Now, the main character will have to create a revenge plan to punish the offender...

Henry and Lance are happy and settled, but when they embark on a disastrous Date Night, life will never be the same again. At work, Henry is drawn to the enigmatic Freddie Baxter, while Lance greets a newcomer, Daniel – but both new friendships are set on a course to explode.

Henry begins his new life, but Freddie marks out the battle lines - can they ever be friends, let alone anything more? Lance tries to work out where Henry’s gone, and enlists Cleo’s help, but only Cliff is devious enough to work out the truth – and when Henry’s workplace becomes a battleground, the stakes are raised higher than ever.

Henry stumbles into a dangerous trap when Freddie meets his old school teacher, Gregory, and sets out for revenge. Lance takes action and cuts Henry off completely, while at work, Daniel’s attempts to help seem to hint at something more. Is Lance imagining things, or is Daniel not as straight as he seems?

When a manhunt goes wrong, Henry, Freddie and Dean end up trapped together, and some long-buried truths rise to the surface. With Marie arriving in town to take charge, and events at the flatshare reaching a peak, Henry finds he's running out of options.

Everyone gets caught up in Henry's grand scheme, and life appears to be perfect, but only Freddie realises the truth. As events of the past catch up with them all, Henry reaches out to family, friends and lovers in an attempt to survive, and yet he still has to face the greatest challenge of all.
