Detectives Tori Lustigman and Nick Manning are assigned a brutal murder case in Bondi, where they begin to uncover mounting evidence to suggest the killing is connected to a spate of unexplained deaths, "suicides" and disappearances throughout the 80s and 90s. Haunted by the disappearance of her teenage brother, Tori's fascination with the case soon turns to fixation. When more ritualistic murders occur with the same bizarre signature, Tori and Nick will need to put their relationships, their careers and their lives on the line to finally reveal the truth.
The action of the series takes place not far from Sydney. The corpse was discovered in a small town. All people want to find the killer, but there is very little evidence. Local residents are frightened, the police are at a loss. The experienced detectives begin investigate the crime. In the course of events it became clear that this murder is another. Indeed, in 80-90s of the last century there were mass killings on the shores of Sydney. As it turned out, many murders were not investigated and not solved. In the area of risk mainly fall the young homosexual people. The detectives found that the handwriting of murders is the same. It means that crimes were committed by one person. Or there were multiple killers? But who are they? Torry and Nick must find out the truth, to this horror will not repeat any more and the locals will be calm. They will stop at anything.
