The plot - the invasion of Iraq through the eyes of soldiers of the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion USMC. 1st Expeditionary Force entered Iraq from Kuwait to Baghdad and made way through the center of the country - directly from Mesopotamia. During the invasion the Marines have to deal with the lack of food and ammunition, the incompetence of command, the lack of a clear strategy and clear tactics of warfare and other unpleasant situations. The series is based on the true story of the magazine reporter, assigned to the 1st reconnaissance battalion Marine Corps.
