What happens when it comes to old age? Only pills, forgetfulness and chronic fatigue? Maybe, but not in Mount Palms Memorial Hospital. It is a place where events of the series "Getting On" develop and it is so lively and overcrowded with events that the diseases often fade into the background. In the center of the plot of the second season, as it was before, there is medical staff of the nursing home. They are still trying to break the wheel of bureaucracy, which does not allow to provide the necessary assistance to patients. Heroes still have a lot of personal problems that begin with overweight and end with the family turmoil. The contradictions often arise inside of the medical staff and, and grow into hatred and such unpleasant situations often affect adversely their work as a whole. But even with such difficulties, the heroes will be able to find a way out. They will continue to perform their duties, because of their concentration and confidence depend the lives of many patients. The viewer can only watch as medical staff will cope with all the problems in their path and how humor helps to survive in tough times.
