Olympus season 1 episodes list:
Hero is tasked with reclaiming Gaia's oracle from the dreaded Cyclops, and returning it to her temple in Athens. There Gaia may use her vision to see into Hero's past, which is unknown to him when this story begins. At the same time, Minoans have seized Athens, throwing the city into a state of panic and chaos. During the unrest, someone attempts to assassinate the Athenian king, Aegeus.
While on their travels, Hero and Oracle encounter a brilliant inventor Daedalus, who has escaped from King Minos. Soon after they discover there exists this Ring of the Magi. Later Queen Medea finds out about Hero and his quest, and sends priest assassins to dispatch of him. King Aegeus' brother Pallus wishes to usurp the throne, which requires that he deceive Prince Lykos.
While on the run, Oracle, Hero, and Daedalus miss being trapped by Medea's warrior priests by a narrow margin. They press on in search of the Ring of the Magi. Priest Xerxes works with Pallas, and uses Lykos, to convince Medea she should participate in a tribute to Apollo, which is in fact an elaborate trap to take down the Queen.
Our trio of adventurers, Hero, Oracle, and Daedalus, are grabbed by mercenaries and brought in front of King Minos and his daughter, Princess Ariadne. When Minos sees the old inventor, he demands that Daedalus build him a machine of war, to conquer the Athenians behind the wall. Taken with Hero, Ariadne tries to weaken him with torture. When Medea learns of Hero's capture, she makes plans for his rescue.
Hero arrives at Athens, where Lykos is becoming more confident with himself. However, Lykos happens to learn about Hero, and who he is, which causes him to experience self doubt. Oracle tries to win Minos over with wit and charm, while reminding Daedalus that they must arrive in Athens before the Minoans do. Daedalus presents to Minos his idea for the most imminent war machine.
Medea and Aegeus try to persuade Hero to assist them in solving the riddle of the Lexicon, thus saving Athens, but Hero is unsure of their true intentions. Meanwhile, Lykos has no idea that Xerxes and Pallas are manipulating him to betray Aegeus and Medea. At the Minoan encampment, Daedalus causes a distraction so Oracle can sneak away to Athens.
Hero decides to help Medea solve the Lexicon. Medea learns that Hero must achieve a major task they believe must happen in the temple of Aphrodite, but Hero is surprised by who he discovers. Medea is headed off by Chalciope, who has come to take back the Ring of the Magi. Has Daedalus finished the war machine for King Minos to end the siege against Athens in her defeat?
The invasion of Athens by the Minoans, ends with a Minoan victory in capturing the city. In order to save the Athenian royal family, Hero, Oracle, and Medea sneak back into Athens. Hero confronts Chronos again, so that a deal may be struck with Minos. A cunning Ariadne sets her sights on Hero and Oracle.
Hero goes in search of the door to Olympus. At the start of his journey, Daedalus unintentionally gives Hero directions that will end him up someplace perilous, so Medea runs after him before something tragic happens. Meanwhile, Oracle has made a bad deal with Minos, and the brave Lykos tries to save his father the King.
While Medea is trapped, she is visited by two ghosts of people who she remembers from her past. Hero finishes the first of multiple mysterious sacrifices, but he has to figure out which mysterious sacrifice comes next. He suspects it has something to do with King Aegeus. Medea, Hero, and Daedalus, all receive visits by the ghosts of people they love. The tomb, still open, is emitting a heavy fog which is lifting the veil between the living and the dead.
It is freezing from the cold in the Throne Room, and Hero and Medea are trapped there because of it. Hero has a vision sent from Mother Gaia. Hero cannot get to the door of Olympus, without help from Daedalus and Medea. Medea tells Hero that Oracle is critical to their journey to Olympus. When the group comes upon Oracle, Hero is confronted with his final sacrifice.
Medea enters into a deadly pact with the demon goddess Circe. Hero, Daedalus, and Oracle must put away their differences, so that Medea can head off Circe long enough for them to find the door to Olympus. During all this, they receive persecutions by the god Hermes. When they finally arrive at the door, what they discover stuns them.
Once inside the doors of Olympus, Hero, Oracle, Daedalus, and Medea now begin the real trek. As they journey, they are enlightened, tested, judged, and bitterly disappointed. Nothing in the world of the gods was as any of them had dreamed, or hoped for. Finally in the end, Hero and Oracle are faced with their biggest challenge ever. What if you had to kill your god?
