The events of PEN15 season 1 take place in the American high school of 2000s. This is the main focus of the sorrows and joys of any teenager. Every day can turn into a worst nightmare due to one stroke of an ordinary gel pen. Maya Erskine and Anna Konkle will play thirteen years old schoolgirls to enhance the comedy effect, while the rest of the cast, depicting students, will consist of real teenagers.
