In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. From Mike Judge comes this satire about a programmer whose game-changing algorithm becomes the subject of a valley-wide bidding war.

It's no news that in order to become an entrepreneur not necessarily finish school perfectly just like a certain talent does not guarantee success in life. Therefore quite often many wealthy persons develop the invention technical genius which usually go unnoticed and are mired in uncertainty. Events of the series revolve around one major programmer Computer Corporation. Thanks to his great abilities he has achieved a lot in life, and at the moment, has been developing his own project. Suddenly the guy was able to develop a unique program for the processing of music data. Now he is thinking how to promote his invention and sell it profitably. Some time later the protagonist receives offers from two of businessmen. One evaluates the project in a decent amount the other offers to invest personal funds in the promotion of music program and receive at least 10% of the profits. Hero considering both offers and sees beneficial for a second option. Under the contract he moved to the international business executives along with other technical geniuses. Programmers, happiness and glory, do not feel the ground under their feet. But very soon they will realize that business and advertising are not for them. But deciding whether technical geniuses to take responsibility for their own development?

The first season has finished with the sudden success of Pied Piper. And now Erlich indeed gets his own 10 % and is a board member of this multi-platform technology. Nonetheless the problems and clashes pursuing our protagonists in the season one still prevail in life of the whole crew in the season two starting with handmade butter and ending with Ehrlich’s conditioner. Even with the additional funding our heroes continue being themselves: Erlich is still going on to offend others, and all in all the crew still maintains the plainly cranky status of outsider, the members of which continue energy drink tippling, cheese-ball eating, odd way of dressing and so on endlessly. The stakes are much higher, but the individualities remain to be the same, which promises to be very spectacular as usual for the Silicon Valley viewers. The Nucleus mega-corporation intends to beat this small start-up in the framework of which a compression algorithm of game changing was elaborated. Nevertheless the fresh funds apply even more screws upon Pied Piper to acquit themselves to their promise.
