Episode #1: Help Wanted (air date: 1999-05-01)

SpongeBob wants to work at the local restaurant, "The Krusty Krab," and with a little help from Patrick, is on his way. But Mr. Krabs and Squidward don't want him there. They send him out to do a job of picking a special spatula. In the meantime, some anchovies are coming by, and are hungry. SpongeBob must feed them all to get the job and save Mr. Krabs and Squidward.

Episode #2: Reef Blower (air date: 1999-05-01)

There's a small clam shell in Squidward's yard and he carelessly kickes it into SpongeBob's yard. SpongeBob gets out his trusty reef blower. Squidward always seems to get the worst end of everything as SpongeBob's reef blower goes crazy and messes up Squidward's yard - all because Squidward was lazy and kicked that one small clamshell in SpongeBob's yard.

Episode #3: Tea at the Treedome (air date: 1999-05-01)

SpongeBob meets a squirrel named Sandy, who breathes air. SpongeBob, trying to impress her, tells her he breathes air. The only problem is that he doesn't know what air is. She invites him over to her treedome, and he can't say no. Patrick gives him useless tips on how to be fancy and SpongeBob goes on over for some tea and cookies. Slowly when there, he is shriveling up and desperately searches for water. Patrick comes in to tell him he is not being fancy enough and they both shrivel up. Sandy comes up with a quick solution to the problem.

Episode #4: Bubblestand (air date: 1999-07-17)

SpongeBob opens up a bubblestand offering bubbles and lessons for 25 cents, Patrick arrives. After Squidward hears them making noise by blowing bubbles, he comes out of his house and reprimands them. After Spongebob and Patrick leave, Squidward decides to blow a bubble but they immediately come back and catch Squidward, forcing him to pay 25 cents. After Squidward fails to blow a bubble many times, Spongebob tells him to follow the technique, but is Squidward too arrogant?

Episode #5: Ripped Pants (air date: 1999-07-17)

After Larry asks Sandy if she wants to go lift weights, SpongeBob feels left out, but decides to go with them. After bending down to pick up the "weight" SpongeBob accidentally rips his pants. After his period of extreme embarrassment Scooter tells Spongebob that it was hilarious. After purposely ripping his pants several more times, he takes it a little too far by pretending to drown. After Sandy gets angry at him, she leaves to go with Larry. SpongeBob will need to tell her how he really feels in order to get her back.

Episode #6: Jellyfishing (air date: 1999-07-31)

SpongeBob and Patrick want to include Squidward in their jellyfishing fun, but Squid brushes them off only to be stung by a jellyfish while riding his bike! After Squidward returns from the hospital, SpongeBob and Patrick want to give him his best day ever which includes... jellyfishing! Squidward finds the jellyfish that stung him and goes to seek his revenge, but he ends up with a little more than he bargained for when he meets the jellyfish's mother!

Episode #7: Plankton! (air date: 1999-07-31)

It's mass chaos at the Krusty Krab when the evil Plankton tries to steal the precious Krabby Patty for his own restaurant, the Chum Bucket. Luckily, he's plan fails, but Plankton is not about to give up. Using his elaborate and college-educated plan, he takes control of SpongeBob's brain forcing Spongebob to bring a Krabby Patty to his restaurant. Will SpongeBob be able to resist Plankton and save the secret recipe?

Episode #8: Naughty Nautical Neighbors (air date: 1999-08-07)

When SpongeBob and Patrick are communicating through bubbles, Squidward is preparing a cake for himself to eat. But he gets mad and decides to also communicate with bubbles, and insults them through the bubbles, making them break their friendship, so he later invites them to his house and SpongeBob and Patrick become friends again.

Episode #9: Boating School (air date: 1999-08-07)

SpongeBob fails his boating test, so Patrick decides to give him advice to pass the test with a walkie-talkie in his head to give him all the answers.

Episode #10: Pizza Delivery (air date: 1999-08-14)

SpongeBob and Squidward are given orders to deliver a pizza, but the two have a heck of a hard time trying to get the pizza to its destination and before you know it they are in the middle of nowhere. SpongeBob must use his pioneer skills to find the way back to Bikini Bottom.

Episode #11: Home Sweet Pineapple (air date: 1999-08-14)

Nematodes destroy SpongeBob's pineapple house. After a failed attempt to rebuild it, SpongeBob decides that maybe he should just move back in with his parents.

Episode #12: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy (air date: 1999-08-21)

SpongeBob and Patrick try to meet the stars of their favorite superhero series, "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy", who currently reside in the local rest home.

Episode #13: Pickles (air date: 1999-08-21)

When SpongeBob's enemy, Bubble Bass, comes in and orders a Krabby Patty, SpongeBob forgets to put the pickles in. Then, his whole world turns upside-down, literally. He even forgets how to make a Krabby Patty. Can he ever show his face in the Krusty Krab again?

Episode #14: Hall Monitor (air date: 1999-08-28)

Mrs. Puff finally chose SpongeBob to be hall monitor of the day! Overly excited after acquiring his new position, SpongeBob gives a very long acceptance speech. Finally, when the bell rings, everyone is so excited to leave that SpongeBob doesn't get a chance to do his hall monitor duties. Out of pity, Mrs. Puff allows SpongeBob to wear the uniform for the rest of the day. SpongeBob sets out to aid the citizens of Bikini Bottom, but he ends up causing more harm than good.

Episode #15: Jellyfish Jam (air date: 1999-08-28)

A jellyfish follows SpongeBob home after a day of jellyfishing, so SpongeBob decides to keep it as a pet. Squidward warns SpongeBob of the difficulties of domesticating a wild animal, but SpongeBob takes no heed. After hours of loud music and dancing with his new jellyfish, SpongeBob goes to bed. During the night, the jellyfish brings its friends into SpongeBob's house which they begin to destroy with their ruckus. Will SpongeBob be able get rid of the jellyfish before they cause any irreparable damage?

Episode #16: Sandy's Rocket (air date: 1999-09-04)

SpongeBob and Patrick are accidentally launched into space while playing around on Sandy's new rocketship. They land back in Bikini Bottom, and they think everyone in town are aliens.

Episode #17: Squeaky Boots (air date: 1999-09-04)

SpongeBob's new pair of boots produces an outrageous squeaking sound whenever he walks. When he wears them to work, the sound begins to drive Mr. Krabs absolutely nuts, so Mr. Krabs tries everything to get rid of them.

Episode #18: Nature Pants (air date: 1999-09-11)

SpongeBob decides to leave his civilized life in Bikini Bottom, and go live uninhibited and free, among a pack of wild jellyfish. During this time, Sandy and Patrick are trying to come up with plans to try to get SpongeBob back.

Episode #19: Opposite Day (air date: 1999-09-11)

Squidward wants to sell his house and move away, but he knows that no one will buy it if they see rambunctious SpongeBob around. So Squidward decides to tell SpongeBob that today is "Opposite Day," in hopes that he will behave around the real estate agent.

Episode #20: Culture Shock (air date: 1999-09-18)

Mr. Krabs wants to make more money, and Squidward suggests a talent show. Everyone is invited, including SpongeBob's parents, and Squidward thinks he will be the best act. He even tries to make SpongeBob think he is acting by cleaning up afterwards. SpongeBob, however, wows the crowd with his cleaning 'act'.

Episode #21: F.U.N. (air date: 1999-09-18)

SpongeBob tries to be friends with Plankton, whom SpongeBob thinks is only evil because he's lonely and made fun of. But Mr. Krabs doesn't believe it. He knows Plankton is evil on the inside. He puts Plankton to the test only to prove to SpongeBob that Plankton is only after the formula.

Episode #22: MuscleBob BuffPants (air date: 1999-09-25)

SpongeBob goes to Sandy's place to go work out, but it doesn't do good. He then buys a pair of phony arms and competes in an anchor-toss competition.

Episode #23: Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost (air date: 1999-09-25)

Squidward builds a wax sculpture of himself, but SpongeBob and Patrick destroy it and think the statue is the "dead" Squidward. Squidward comes out as a "ghost," and SpongeBob and Patrick have to follow his commands.

Episode #24: The Chaperone (air date: 1999-10-02)

SpongeBob is asked to take Mr. Krab's daughter, Pearl, to her school prom after she was dumped by her boyfriend, but as in most cases the prom does not turn out as planed and Pearl and Spongebob both get kicked out.

Episode #25: Employee of the Month (air date: 1999-10-02)

SpongeBob and Squidward compete intensely with each other in order to be the Krusty Krab's Employee of the Month. They start working so hard that soon they begin overdoing it and that turns it trouble at the Krusty Krab.

Episode #26: Scaredy Pants (air date: 1999-10-28)

Spongebob decides to try and make a real splash at Mr. Krabs' Halloween Party, so he chooses to dress as the legendary Flying Dutchman.

Episode #27: I Was a Teenage Gary (air date: 1999-10-28)

Spongebob makes Squidward in charge of taking care of Gary. But when Squidward accidentally forgets, he and Spongebob must cure Gary before the worst happens.

Episode #28: SB-129 (air date: 1999-12-31)

Squidward hides in the Krusty Krab inside a freezer, and SpongeBob and Patrick try to look for him, but he's trapped in a freezer for 2,000 years and travels through time, as he goes to the past and then returns.

Episode #29: Karate Choppers (air date: 1999-12-31)

SpongeBob and Sandy are practicing karate, but Mr. Krabs sees them and tells them to do no more karate because it poisons their minds.

Episode #30: Sleepy Time (air date: 2000-01-17)

SpongeBob discovers what all his friends are dreaming about, every time he enters a dream he ruins there dream and in the end everyone comes to his house and tells him to stop messing with there dreams.

Episode #31: Suds (air date: 2000-01-17)

SpongeBob comes down with a case of the SUDS - a flu-like illness in which bubbles escape through pores in the body, then Dr. Patrick comes over and tries to convince Spongebob that he can't go to the Doctor and all of the bad things that happen to people who go to the doctor like reading Old Magazines.

Episode #32: Valentine's Day (air date: 2000-02-14)

SpongeBob wants to give Patrick the best Valentine's Day gift ever, a chocolate heart shaped hot air balloon. Sandy starts to drive it over to SpongeBob and Patrick at the Valentine Day fair but, scallops attack the balloon, and SpongeBob must stall for time. Patrick goes crazy waiting for his gift, and starts to attack people at the fair.

Episode #33: The Paper (air date: 2000-02-14)

SpongeBob gets a small piece of paper from Squidward to play with. Squidward thinks that the paper is useless and just gives it away. SpongeBob soon does many fun things with it, and makes Squidward very jealous.

Episode #34: Arrgh! (air date: 2000-03-15)

SpongeBob and Patrick play a pirate board game based on a real treasure map. Mr. Krabs joins in and wins a bunch of times in a row. The next day, Mr. Krabs takes the two boys on a treasure hunt, but they find out later that Mr. Krabs is using the game as a map, and is going crazy trying to find the Flying Dutchman's treasure.

Episode #35: Rock Bottom (air date: 2000-03-15)

SpongeBob and Patrick accidentally get on the wrong bus coming out of an amusement park called Glove World, and head for a city named Rock Bottom. When they get there, Patrick gets on a bus back to Bikini Bottom, and leaves SpongeBob by mistake. How will SpongeBob ever get home?

Episode #36: Texas (air date: 2000-03-22)

Sandy gets homesick, so SpongeBob and Patrick do as much as they can to cheer her up. When they want to throw her a surprise party and she won't come, SpongeBob and Patrick make Sandy chase them to the Krusty Krab, where the party is being held.

Episode #37: Walking Small (air date: 2000-03-22)

Plankton's newest scheme involves getting someone to scare everyone away from "Goo Lagoon" so he can create his new restaurant, "The Mega Bucket." He tricks SpongeBob into scaring everyone away from the beach, until SpongeBob realizes what he is doing is wrong.

Episode #38: Fools in April (air date: 2000-04-01)

Squidward wakes up and finds out it is April Fools Day. April Fools Day is SpongeBob's favorite holiday so Squidward becomes paranoid, thinking SpongeBob will play a joke on him. Squidward plays a mean trick on SpongeBob, but after SpongeBob runs home crying, Squidward must apologize.

Episode #39: Neptune's Spatula (air date: 2000-04-01)

SpongeBob and Patrick go to the Fry Cook Museum and are looking at the exhibits, when they come across the a spatula stuck in hardened grease. This spatula could only be pulled out by a fry cook worthy enough to cook for Neptune himself. Spongebob pulls the spatula out with ease, and is excepted to move to Atlantis as Neptune's fry cook! But, when Neptune tells SpongeBob he cannot bring his friends, SpongeBob starts to reconsider. Will SpongeBob leave his friends behind?

Episode #40: Hooky (air date: 2000-04-08)

Patrick introduces SpongeBob to a carnival but this "carnival" is really colored fishing hooks dropped by fishermen on land. Mr. Krabs warns SpongeBob to stay away and how dangerous they are, but Patrick keeps on talking about how fun they are. Who will SpongeBob listen to, Patrick or Mr. Krabs?

Episode #41: Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II (air date: 2000-04-08)

SpongeBob is awarded a prize for his life size Krabby Patty sculptures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. The prize is the "Magic Conch" as seen in many episodes of the television show "The Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy." The conch shell, when blown, will make a noise and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy will come running! It is meant only for danger. SpongeBob blows the conch for simple chores. Will the heroes be so annoyed they must take back the conch?
