Joyce became determined to help service personnel after her father's experiences in the trenches in WWI. Presenters Paul Martin and Irina Aggrey want to raise enough money to treat Joyce and her close-knit family to a VIP day out at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. The people of Thatcham, Berkshire, rally round and donate items - including an antique clock and earrings set with real diamonds, sapphires and rubies - to be sold at a Street Auction next to where Joyce lives. Last year an ash tree crashed down on him, pinning him to the ground and almost killing him. Since the life-changing accident, Rob has had to adjust to using a hook attachment, which, coupled with medical complications, has made work difficult. Presenters Paul Martin and Danny Sebastian set out to help him by collecting unwanted items donated by neighbours and selling them at a Street Auction near Rob's home. Money raised is going towards a life-like cosmetic hand which will make Rob look and feel more comfortable.
Father-of-two Jim Sutton was medically discharged from the RAF after suffering a ruptured artery to his brain. While receiving treatment at a military rehabilitation centre Jim realised that by helping others he could help himself. Now he spends his days helping the young and old, and former military personnel, as a volunteer in the town of Calne where he lives. In this programme, presenters Paul Martin and Danny Sebastian scour Jim's neighbourhood collecting unwanted items to sell at a Street Auction - without letting Jim know the fundraising is all for him.
