Initially unhappy to see him, Brutus quickly realizes that Woody's unrivalled ability to go undercover in any guise can make them both money. When Melody, the beautiful wife of pensions fraudster Donald Hammer, approaches Brutus to help her find her husband's hidden millions, Brutus enlists Woody's help. There's a catch, however - the only living being who knows where the cash is stashed is Teflon Don's talking parrot - and the parrot has been kidnapped. It's the island's annual hypnotism convention - Brutus's favourite time of the year. After some fun and games in the bar with sleazy hypnotist the Great Fernando, one of the other visiting hypnotists, the Fabulous Mark, arrives asking for Woody and Brutus's help with a hypnotism stage show gone wrong. Mark's act caused a hypnotised audience member to flee the venue, vowing to track down and kill the hypnotist. Mark and his wife Janice are now scared for their lives. Woody goes on the hunt for the missing man, ending up in jail, performing his own hypnotism show and on the stake-out to end all stake-outs, before finding himself in a midnight showdown between some very unfriendly hypnotists.
Brutus sacks his barman Zorro after he goes missing, and replaces him with a new barman, New Zorro. Three days later, Old Zorro returns and pleads for his job back, explaining that he has had a run of bad luck at the casino. He then reveals that, in a desperate attempt to win back his money, he has gambled the bar - and lost it! And to save his knees, Zorro did a deal with the casino manager, who agreed to waive the debt if Woody will do a job for him. Somebody is ripping off the casino and he needs to find out who it is before the casino's owners - the Gamberos brothers and notorious gangsters - arrive on the island in 48 hours' time. With Melody by his side, Woody goes undercover. Will he find the thief before the Gamberos brothers arrive and Brutus loses his beloved bar forever?
Woody, Brutus, Zorro and Melody find themselves locked up in a prison cell in fancy dress with enormous hangovers and only a hazy recollection of the previous night. It transpires that Brutus, Melody and Zorro have been detained on suspicion of the murder of Spanish tribute singer Elton Juan after attending a party in his honour at the mansion of pop impresario Senor Big. Woody, however, didn't attend the party and has only been held on a minor charge of impersonating a lifeguard. He is soon released. With his friends still locked up it's down to Woody to clear their names. Using his full armoury of characters and disguises, Woody talks his way into Big's mansion to find out what really happened. In the course of his investigations he meets Frederico Mercury, the Island's top Freddie Mercury impersonator. Mercury has everything to gain from the death of a rival tribute singer. But, as Woody discovers, Elton Juan had many enemies...
Woody is employed by a company running pirate boat parties for tourists. When a new rival company threatens to sabotage the business and steal customers, Woody is asked to come on board and help. But once on the boat (and, of course, deep undercover as a pretend pirate), Woody discovers all is not what is seems. Kidnapped at sea, Woody's life is in danger as pretend pirate battles turn into real ones. Once more Woody must rely on his wits and clever disguises, including the infamous British spy Peter Smiley, and of course on his friends Brutus and Melody, to get him out of trouble.
