This is an Indian political drama. The main thread of the story is the confrontation between politicians and active youth. Samar Pratap (Saif Ali Khan) is the leader of a leading political party in India. He plans to become the next prime minister after the victory of his party. There are other contenders for the throne: Father Samara, the current and prime minister of the country, Devki Nandan (Tigmanshu Dhulia) and Anuradha (Dimple Kapadia), the closest associate of Devki. The path to the coveted chair is not easy. And in parallel, we are watching the campus activist Shiva (Mohd. Zeeshan Ayyub). He becomes famous among young people one day and, of course, decides to use his popularity for change. He is eager to overthrow the former and improve the life of the population.
