Jim Shannon is a faithful father with the great experience; he leads his family into this new world of endless beauty, mystery and horror. Jimâ€™s wife, Elisabeth Shannon, trauma surgeon, won the participation at the Terra Nova medical team on a lottery. Josh Shannon, their son, misses his girlfriend who was left in the future and is torn between the authority of his father and the charismatic commander Frank Taylor, the leader of the colony, and the heroic pioneer who was the first one to walk through the portal.
