The Handmaid's Tale is the story of life in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society in what was formerly the United States. Facing environmental disasters and a plunging birthrate, Gilead is ruled by a twisted fundamentalism in its militarized ‘return to traditional values'. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred is a Handmaid in the Commander's household, one of the caste of women forced into sexual servitude as a last desperate attempt to repopulate the world. In this terrifying society, Offred must navigate between Commanders, their cruel Wives, domestic Marthas, and her fellow Handmaids – where anyone could be a spy for Gilead – all with one goal: to survive and find the daughter that was taken from her.

This is the story of an unhappy woman, which lost her daughter. The action of the series taking place in a totalitarian state of Gilead. The main character's name is Offred. She tells the story about a miserable life of middle-class people. The representatives of the upper stratum of the population are respected in the state. But women, for unknown reasons, can't have children. So the rich people capture the women of the middle class and send them to special camps. Religious sects observe for them here. They are dressed in red dresses and performed a sequential process of religious action. The women preparing for the birth of children. These children take the rich elite families later. Thus the representatives of the upper strata of society continue their own kind. Offred belongs to this category of mothers. It would seem, in such conditions it is possible to become crazy or to end life by suicide. But no. She should be smart strong and solid as a rock. She needs to find her daughter. What the outcome of the series the Handmaide's Tale season 1?

June Osborne (Elisabeth Moss) continues to fight against totalitarian regime in Gilead in upcoming episodes of The Handmaid’s Tale. The theme of season 2 is motherhood. Pregnant Ms.Osborne will continue to go against the system and will fight for the liberation of her unborn child from horror of Gilead. We will know about what happens when a person is determined to revolt. There is her rebellious spirit, cautious steps away from lifestyle of an obedient handmaid and related problems in the new 2nd season. in the series Waterfords (June’s hosts) and also Aunt Lydia will return to the new episodes. She, by the way, will be given special attention. Moreover, June’s mother will appear in the next chapter. So, The Handmaid’s Tale season 2 will become even more gloomy and dramatic than the first one.

The main character made a difficult decision at the end of the second season and remained in the Republic of Gilead. The new chapter of the series starts where the previous one ended. June decides to stay in Gilead to look after his daughter Hannah, while Emily fled, grabbing her youngest daughter. Upcoming episodes will be devoted to the uprising of the main character against the system.

The third season ended with June (Elisabeth Moss) desperate act and her serious injury. However, the heroine survived, and ahead of her awaits a meeting with the Resistance and the unification of all the handmaids for the battle with the former tormentors. The main character of the series fully got used to the role of the leader of the resistance. The question is whether she will find enough allies to plunge her tormentors into the abyss of hell, since most of those who tried to help June ended up badly.
