The TV series ia about the reign of Henry's and at first season it tells us the story of international conflicts and political intrigues. Cardinal Wolsey plays an important role in the beginning of the season. In the first episode Cardinal becomes Henry's advisor. Cardinal advices to keep the friendship with France and the two kings shall meet at Calais for the signing of the agreement for peace. Anne Boleyn builds love affair with Henry. Henry decides to divorce the Queen - Catherine of Aragon but for this it is necessary to have permit the Catholic Church on behalf of the Pope. From the seventh episode the terrible disease falls on England. Henry want to prevent the disease and left London, he moved to the countryside. Anne Boleyn could not avoid the disease. Pope's ambassador arrives in England to decide the fate of marriage with Queen. The Court held in favor of Katherine. As punishment, the Cardinal loses his position and refers to York. In the third season, Henry marries for the third time but his honeymoon is spoiled because of the beginning of the insurrection against the authority of the new format. Part of the rebels is defeated in Lincolnshire but strengthened in Yorkshire, led by Robert Askey and Lord Darcy. Pope calls on the Spanish and French monarchs to support uprising in England for the purpose of repairing the old Catholic traditions.
