Why Women Kill season 2←Why Women Kill season 1
The next chapter of the anthology Why Women Kill will touch upon issues that have remained relevant for more than half a century: what does it mean for a woman to be beautiful, what emotions are hidden behind this facade, and how far are the fair sex ready to go to find their place in this world and find themselves? The action of the new series will unfold in 1949 around a timid and clumsy housewife named Alma (Allison Tolman), whose boundless optimism is not extinguished under the attacks of a cruel world. The heroine dreams of getting into an elite club, which includes the most sophisticated local ladies. Club members are in no hurry to accept Alma into their ranks: women scoff at her outfits and call her ugly. However, soon everything will change, and Alma's life will no longer be the same after she learns about her husband's secret hobby.
